It took little effort to re-position Kyubi so that it would block the incoming blow, although it had enough force behind it that it effectively launched Ace into the air. Once there, another ring of Dust shattered, giving off an eerie, dark shimmer. The Faunus breathed into her palm, collecting the nearby Dust into it, and a black, apparitious ball, which looked much like a cloud of smoke, formed in her hand. Upon landing, Ace spun low to the ground and twisted her body in a full 360 before horizontally extending each of her arms in either direction, palms open. The hand that was carrying the dark orb was directed towards Puca, and consequentially sent said orb directly towards him.

Puca lifted one canon towards the blow, but rather than fire, he simply let it shoot straight into the barrel before he fired in response, sending the projectile back at Ace. As soon as he fired, he ran directly at Ace, Swinging his other canon in rapid succession, increasing in speed with each blow as wisps of black smoke trailed from his blows, until his every movement was like a blur. There was no way Ace could withstand the barrage of attacks, she would either have to back away a considerable distance, or get hit with a monstrous steel shaft.
