Interview: Amy Nova

[Ace]

"Miss Nova!" Glynda slapped her crop on to the table that Amy was seated at, glaring at her. She was aware that this was only a child she was talking to, but hacking into the mainframe of Beacon's computers was a serious offense and Glynda would NOT stand for it. "Have you any idea as to what sort of trouble you're in? What you have done, while being a commendable display of brilliance, is in serious violation of several laws."She paced back and forth after withdrawing the riding crop from the desk and waited for Ozpin to enter the room while idly rambling about the laws that Amy had disobeyed. "Endangering students, violation of property, disturbance of security, violation of PRIVACY... I can't even begin to imagine what your teachers at Signal would think of this!"

Timid for a moment, Amy sat in the seat rather unconcerned with any such consequences that might result from her little intrusion, and smiled kicking her feet and enjoying her company. She jumped at the moment when Glynda's crop cracked against the surface of the table and then temporarily found herself following the crop's every movement as Glynda paraded about the room ranting. When she finally snapped out of her trance of curiosity when she started trying to condone her actions and Amy simply responded with. "You know, that's a good question... None of them taught Amy to do such things..." She kicked her chair into a spin, and giggled to herself as it slowly came to a stop.

Ozpin entered the room with a plate of cookies in one hand and his mug in the other, setting the plate on the table in front of Amy and sipping his coffee (or at least what looked like coffee). "Glynda, could I have a moment alone with her?"

The door opened smoothly and Ozpin had slipped in quietly. Glynda stopped in her tracks, only to give an angered scoff at his request. She'd seen him do this before. 'Glynda, could I have a moment alone....' usually meant that Ozpin was considering making a decision that he KNEW she wouldn't approve of and he didn't want to see her disapproval when he'd made up his mind. "Fine. But," She leaned over to whisper in his ear, inaudible to Amy. "you'd better really think this one through Ozpin. That girl with the scythe was one exception, but this is a CHILD we're talking about here. Think of the danger."

Glynda promptly left the room.

Amy crossed her arms in her lap as the chair came to a full stop, looking up attentively at Ozpin, then glanced down at the cookies and her eyes became wide like saucers. She picked up one cookie sheepishly and nibbled on it returning the gaze to Ozpin.

Ozpin took a seat across from her, taking another sip from his mug before setting it down in front of her. His lips lifted up in an almost smile, his eyes taking a moment to inspect her. "Hello Miss Nova. I understand you've made quite a problem of our network."

"Did Amy do that?" She flipped over in the chair, her legs hanging over the head of the seat and her head below, and she dropped the remainder of her cookie into her mouth before spin the chair once more and simultaneously correcting herself. She reached for another cookie never breaking eye contact with them now, as if they seduced her into telling to the truth. "Amy was only bored, honest." Drawing another she stuck a cookie in her mouth letting hang halfway beyond her lips.

(Wow, sorry if any of that sounded seductive... XD)

Ozpin turned his chair just a bit sideways, taking another long glance at her before grabbing his mug, taking another sip from it. "So, you're a student at Signal... Why does a young girl like yourself want to become a Huntress?" He asked nonchalantly, taking a cookie for himself.

For a while she spoke with with the cookie in her mouth and something incomprehensible was spoken of during such time because she was so careless, then he grabbed it and ripped it in half pretending to be some wild animal and somewhat enjoying it to an extent. "Nothing." She put simply. "Nothing else to do~ All the time in the world, but not a moment to waste." She sensed that she wasn't making very much sense. Then looking into Ozpin's eyes, she just gave into the truth. "Amy just... wants to be remembered." she lowered her head as she admitted that.

Ozpin let out a thoughtful hum, rubbing his chin at the same time. "Do you intend to enroll at Beacon once you've graduated from Signal?"

By now she had given up on enjoying the tasty delicacies on the table, and in response just nodded to Ozpin. She honestly felt like she ought to have been in a much worse position after what transpired, finally coming to realize the damage she had done.

Ozpin leaned back in his seat, once again inspecting her. "Amy, what if I were to offer you a position at Beacon right now. What would you say?"

Amy sat up with a jolt, and for a moment stared into Ozpin's eyes as if she were trying to become a lie detector, leaning in rather close to gaze at his eyes, before moving back to give him some space, and stretched out her arms as if she were going to hug him.

Ozpin sat patiently in his chair, watching as she stretched her arms. If she moved to hug him, he allowed it. Otherwise he simply sat in his chair.

After that awkward moment had passed with her arms outstretched for some apparent reason she just wrapped them around Ozpin and didn't say a word, while imagining what that blonde haired demon would have to say about this man's actions.

Ozpin gave her a few pats on the back before pulling away, grabbing his cane and standing up. "Glynda will help you through the application process. I'll see you at the Introductory Assembly." He collected his cain, making his way towards the door.

[Ace]

"Ozpiiiiin!"

This shouting from beyond the closed door was the last thing that came from Glynda for the remainder of the night.
